2. SPECIAL FOR YOU - MP3 PREVIEW OF BEYOND BORDERS LIVE DISC
We hope it's been worth the wait, but we're nearing the finish line of mixing, mastering and packaging the Andrew McKnight & Beyond Borders live concert CD and bonus DVD. This month, special first dibs to the kind folks who are willing to let us email you this E-Zine, here is a free download preview.

The band's rocking take on the title track from Something Worth Standing For features some stellar gospel-tinged harmonies from Lisa Taylor as well as the beautiful bouzouki built for Stephanie Thompson by Marty Fair at Fairbuilt Guitars. If you're used to hearing Andrew solo on acoustic guitar, here is a different perspective! There is plenty of that acoustic guitar on the recording too.

Freely stream, download (use this email address so you don't get added to the E-Zine twice!), share, enjoy at http://andrewmcknight.bandcamp.com/track/something-worth-standing-for-live

Just a few hours drive north or south this time of year is like moving into a different season. It's been a very wet and cool spring here, so our drive down to make music at the Southeast Regional Folk Alliance conference near Asheville NC last month brought us three or four weeks ahead into early summer. Everything there was crazy green, from the honeysuckle and takeover kudzu to the tall tree canopies in the Blue Ridge foothills.

Nature has many ways to remind us of its seemingly infinite powers. Another oft-cited bit of science is that 98 percent of the world's tornadoes happen in the United States. . ."
