Andrew and his Beyond Borders bandmates recently sat down for an in-depth interview with writer Natalia Megas for the April 2014 edition of élan magazine, a high-gloss publication dedicated to the Virginia arts scene. "In the Zone" draws on a wide-ranging conversation touching on the creative process and inspiration, each member's life connections with music, balancing work and family, as well as filming their upcoming DVD followup to One Virginia Night. We love the opening lines;

"Trying to pigeonhole Andrew McKnight & Beyond Borders is like trying to fit a cello into a violin case. It just won't happen. Their music is eclectic - fusing musical genres with innovative sounds, beautiful harmonies and timeless lyrics."
